Living United

Join us in celebrating Westminster Preschool's new location!

Westminster has been apart of Grant County for nearly 50 years. They have been searching for more opportunities to expand to help meet the community's needs. Westminster is aware that there is a childcare desert and wants to solve the problem.

One of our core missions is to help further education in our community. We worked hard to help Westminster open a second location and open 147 childcare seats by securing a grant through the economic relief initiative. We were able to give a grant of $62,500 through this initiative. With this funding, they could expand their capacity and renovate the facilities with new floors and materials. They were also able to welcome in more employees and are still hiring.

What makes Westminster so unique and special? Dani Svanter, the director, says, "Westminster has staff specializing in early childhood professors, and the preschool has a family-like atmosphere." Unlike other preschools, Westminster also has a social-emotional curriculum and sensory rooms. How does Westminster live united? They partner with local organizations in Grant County. Currently, they partner with the YMCA, the Early Childhood Coalition, Little Giants, and Larks Song. Thank you, Westminster Preschool, for Living United and all you do for the Grant County community!
