Jessy Pearson-Cheney is the Victim Assistance Coordinator for the Grant County Sheriff's Department. She is also a member of the United Way Board and has been serving there for 3.5 years.
When asked, why do you love Grant County/Serving in Grant County? Jessy said,
"Grant County is my home by choice. I have been here for over 20 years and have grown to love this community. Grant County has a desire and the potential to thrive and I am grateful to impact that vision through service on the United Way Board. My husband and I have decided to make Grant County our home and look forward to watching the positive growth in our community."
Jessy joined the board as a young professional who was looking for opportunities to serve her community as well as to form new relationships throughout the community. She appreciates the mission and vision of the United Way and loves being able to serve on one board while serving multiple agencies.
Jessy loves getting to serve and be a part of the UW board, and she has a word for you!
"The United Way's mission is to build stronger families in Grant County. The staff and Board of Directors make every effort to protect the money donated to the work of our partner agencies. Supporting the United Way is a simple way to make a big difference throughout Grant County for individuals across their lifespan."
