Ann is currently the Administrative Director at Marion General Hospital and has been on the United Way board in some capacity for a very long time. Currently, she is a member of the board, but she has also previously been a Campaign Chair and the past President of the board.
When asked, why do you love Grant County/serve in Grant County? Ann said,
"Grant County is my hometown. My husband and I are fortunate to have careers that could take us anywhere in the world, with offers to do just that. But living in a community we love, serving a community that is made up of our friends, family, and neighbors is what truly matters to us. We love living and raising our family in Grant County."
Ann serves on this board because she believes that the United Way is the pillar of giving back and living united. She believes that the United Way not only serves to promote and assist the partnering agencies, but they also serve numerous coalitions, programs, and initiatives that focus on the betterment of the entire community.
Ann loves getting to serve and be a part of the UW board, and she has a word for you!
"Supporting the United Way allows your donation to be spread among numerous organizations and initiatives all for the improvement and enhancement of our community."
